The A4e History

‘A4who?’ you may ask.

We’re new in Australia so that’s a fair question.

But we’d like you to know that we’ve ‘got form’ when it comes to getting people back into work.

A4e was founded over 20 years ago in the UK 
by Emma Harrison.

Back then, we were helping steelworkers who had lost their jobs in Sheffield – which now happens to be where our head office is based. We helped them get back on their feet, develop their confidence and apply their talent in new jobs.

It was difficult – the country was in recession and there weren’t that many jobs. But we worked tirelessly to make things better. Now, the world economy’s going through equally difficult times and we’re still around - improving people’s lives. We’re just doing it on a bigger scale.
